Janet grew up in the rain forest and tall timber of the Quinault district on the western slopes of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, the product of tough pioneering ancestors. Janet is married to Richard and they have 3 sons. She lives now in Richland Washington.
Janet is a survivor. She sustained head injuries in a fall in 1985 which completely altered her life. Always an active participant in life the injury caused devastating effects with severe memory loss both audio and visual. Janet has a burning desire to be a worthwhile contributor to life, so she fought back. She fought back with a pen. She was surprised to find poetry appearing since she had never written it before. Her thoughts vanish in seconds but her courage to go on and touch others with heartfelt words keeps her going.
We hope you will enjoy the freshness and unique positive spirit reflected in the words of this remarkable women, my sister Janet.
